What book formats do you provide?

Stan­dard ebook for­mat­ting ser­vices include one Kin­dle mobi file and one ePub file suit­able for most oth­er ebook retail­ers. Word doc­u­ment for­mat­ting for Smash­words is typ­i­cal­ly addi­tion­al.

Print book lay­outs are pro­vid­ed in print-ready PDF.

What kind of content/formats can you convert from?

MrLasers can con­vert near­ly any dig­i­tal file into an ebook, includ­ing Microsoft Word, OpenOf­fice Writer, Apple Pages, Adobe PDF, and even print.

The most com­mon file for­mats we see from authors are Microsoft Word .doc and .docx files.

How much does it cost?

Can I get a discount for multiple books?

Absolute­ly! If you have mul­ti­ple books that need for­mat­ting, please con­tact Mrlasers with the specifics.

How long does the conversion process take?

Stan­dard ebook for­mat­ting and/or print lay­out takes around sev­en cal­en­dar days from receipt of all nec­es­sary man­u­script, image, and oth­er files. For par­tic­u­lar­ly com­plex or spe­cial­ized books, deliv­ery time may be longer.

Rush deliv­ery can typ­i­cal­ly be arranged for an addi­tion­al fee.

Can I make changes after you’ve formatted my book?

We are always hap­py to pro­vide alter­ations to our for­mat­ting until you are com­plete­ly sat­is­fied. Author errors or oth­er cor­rec­tions not relat­ed to the for­mat­ting or lay­out pro­vid­ed by MrLasers may require addi­tion­al fees, but these will be deter­mined on a case-by-case basis.

What forms of payment do you accept?

MrLasers uses cred­it card pro­cess­ing ser­vices pro­vid­ed by PayPal.com, allow­ing invoic­es to be paid with any major cred­it card or your Pay­Pal bal­ance. A Pay­Pal account is not required to use this ser­vice. We can also accept per­son­al or busi­ness checks upon request.

Unless oth­er arrange­ments are made ahead of time, all projects are invoiced Net-30 from the ini­tial deliv­ery date.
